Giving has always been at the heart of Members Credit Union. During this time of uncertainty caused by COVID-19, MCU knows that the communities we serve are in need. Throughout the year, each MCU branch facilitates various fundraisers to support local causes in their local communities.
COVID-19 has impacted our members, and they are looking for help from various community organizations during this time. MCU understands the stress that many are facing due to reduced income or unemployment status, and we want to help!
Utilizing the funds that our branches have collected from across the state, MCU has donated over $7,600 to thirteen different charities to assist community members with the burdens they may be experiencing! Over the next several weeks, we will be highlighting each of these charities on our Facebook page!
We are proud of our employees and our members who have donated to each fundraiser to help make these donations possible. These donations made to community charities are a true testament to the credit union philosophy of “People helping People.”
