Members Credit Union is seeking members to serve on our Supervisory Committee and Board of Directors. As a not for profit financial cooperative the credit union relies on volunteers to fill these vital positions.

Supervisory Committee

The role of the Supervisory Committee is to ensure that internal controls are established and effectively maintained to satisfy management objectives. The Committee also makes sure that the credit union's Board of Directors is safeguarding the credit union's assets and that management complies with the Board's policies and plans.
The Supervisory Committee meets once per quarter at our corporate office in Winston-Salem.

Board of Director

The primary responsibility of the Board of Directors is to set policy, help plan the credit union's course and make sure that the credit union maintains its sound financial condition. All decisions of the Board of Directors must be guided by the best interests of the membership.
Potential board members should understand the credit union philosophy, have the ability to understand basic financial statements, and be able to think and plan strategically.
Board of Directors meetings occur in January, March, June, September and December.

For consideration please submit a resume and cover letter indicating the position in which you have interest to melanieh@memcu.com.
