October 21, 2004 – Bill Tittsworth, Vice Chairman of Members Credit Union’s (Winston-Salem, NC) Board of Directors, was named the NC Credit Union League Northwest Chapter of Credit Unions’ Volunteer of the Year for his outstanding dedication to not-for-profit financial cooperatives. Bill has held a seat as a board member of credit unions for 22 years, and has served the Members Credit Union Board of Directors continuously since June 26, 1989. Thanks in large part to Tittsworth’s leadership, Members Credit Union has grown from $50 million to over $175 million in assets, and membership has increased from 20,000 to over 50,000 during his tenure.
