September 17, 2004 - Jack V. Braswell, Jr., President/CEO of Members Credit Union (Winston-Salem, NC), recently celebrated 25 years of credit union service. Braswell joined Members Credit Union on September 4, 1979, as Treasurer, and was named President/CEO in 1991. Under his leadership, the credit union has enjoyed a 70% growth in membership as well as a 173% growth in assets, and 408% capital growth.
Braswell has held a seat on the Members Credit Union Board of Directors for 25 years and has also served on several credit union boards and committees in his illustrious career. His leadership with the Political Action Board of Trustees, CUNA Mutual Policy Owners’ Council, Credit Union Service Corporation Operations Committee, various NC CU League Committees, the Northwest Chapter Board, and his overall dedication to the Credit Union Difference earned him the North Carolina Credit Union League’s “Mark of Excellence Award” in June.
Braswell looks forward to another 25 years of service.
