Marion, NC July 6, 2010 – Members Credit Union awarded Lauren Mills with the $3,000 John R. Loftin Scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year. Mills graduated in June from McDowell High School (Marion, NC) and plans to attend Appalachian State University (Boone, NC) in the fall.
Members Credit Union has awarded over $122,000 in post-secondary education scholarships to qualified MCU members since the scholarship program was established in 1996.
