What would you say to the seventh grade version of yourself, if you had the opportunity to travel back in time, to describe what it would be like in the future to be an adult with a job and financial responsibilities? You may say, “it’s not as easy as you think,” or “money doesn’t grow on trees.” Thanks to a Financial Reality Fair sponsored by Members CU, nearly 160 seventh graders at North Davie Middle School were able to experience what life is like as an adult, even without the time travel capabilities.
The event was documented by Jeff Hardin of the Carolinas Credit Union League. You can watch a video here: Members CU Financial Reality Fairs
