Members Credit Union’s (MCU) Annual Shareholders Meeting is scheduled for Friday, January 27th, 2023, at 9:30 AM in MCU’s central office located at 2098 Frontis Plaza Blvd. in Winston-Salem, NC. All members are invited to attend and exercise their rights as member-owners of the Credit Union and hear the financial results of 2022.
Members CU Board Election
One of the most important agenda items for this meeting is the election of the Board of Directors positions. The Nomination Committee has submitted the following list of candidates to fill three-year terms.
Jerry T. Church is the Town Manager of Granite Falls, NC. He has an MBA from Appalachian State University and has served on the MCU Board continuously since 1994. Church serves as the Chairman of the Compensation Committee and sits on the Executive Committee.
William A. Tittsworth is the sitting Chairman of the MCU Board and its Executive Committee. He retired in 2016 from Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., where he worked as the Director of Compensation and Employee Benefits. Tittsworth began serving on MCU's Board in 1989. He also serves on the Compensation Committee.
Richard L. Trotter retired from Hanesbrands Inc., in Rabun Gap, GA, where he was the HR Manager. He has served on the MCU Board since 1991 and sits on the Compensation Committee. He has a BS in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina.
Tommy Rhoney has worked at Bernhardt for 30 years and is currently their Director of Supply Chain and Residential Casegoods. Rhoney served on the Board of Directors for BIP Credit Union for 20 years; 14 of those years he served as President of the Board.
